A bill to amend 1986 PA 273, entitled "An act to establish a Michigan educational opportunity grant program for resident qualified students enrolled in eligible public postsecondary schools; and to prescribe the powers and duties of certain state agencies," by amending section 3 (MCL 390.1403). THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT: 1 Sec. 3. (1) A recognized postsecondary school in this state 2 is eligible to participate in the MEOG program under this act if 3 the postsecondary school is a degree-granting public institution 4 approved by the state board of education AND IS IN COMPLIANCE 5 WITH THE MICHIGAN CAMPUS SEXUAL ASSAULT INFORMATION ACT. 6 (2) A grant shall not be made under this act to a student 7 who is enrolled in a program of study leading to a degree in the- 8 ology, divinity, or religious education. 00715'97 h TAV 2 1 Enacting section 1.
