ADDENDUM TO SENATE FISCAL AGENCY ANALYSIS OF SB 555 DATED 7-29-99:


HOUSE COMMITTEE ACTION:


The House Tax Policy Committee adopted a substitute (H-1) for the Senate-passed version to make the bill reflect recent changes to the General Sales Tax Act. There is no change to the substance of the bill.

The Michigan Distributors and Vendors Association has indicated support for the bill. (10-19-99)


The Department of Treasury is opposed to the bill. (10-19-99)
