A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 4122 AS INTRODUCED 2-2-99


The bill would amend the Income Tax Act to allow a taxpayer to deduct from adjusted gross income an amount equal to the health insurance premiums paid by the taxpayer in the tax year. The bill would apply to the 1999 tax year and each year thereafter.
