A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 4710 AS INTRODUCED 5-19-99


The bill would amend Public Act 59 of 1935, the Department of State Police enabling act, to authorize the officers of the Department of State Police to serve a personal protection order or arrest an individual who was violating or had violated a personal protection order issued under the Revised Judicature Act.


The bill would take effect September 1, 1999.
