A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 5169 AS INTRODUCED 12-10-99

House Bill 5169 would amend the Revised School Code to specify that a school district could be eligible for state school aid incentive payments for adopting the state board recommended model core curriculum content standards. Under the bill, the school district could be eligible for the payments if the board of the school district submitted to the Department of Education a board-adopted resolution indicating that the school district had adopted the content standards for its pupils at all grade levels.
