A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 5379 AS INTRODUCED 2-16-00


The bill would establish a Captain of the Lakes Award Program within the Office of the Governor. Under the program, the governor could award a Captain of the Lakes award to an individual who, as specified under the bill, "displayed the ideals that make the state great."
