CONTENT


The bill would repeal Public Act 43 of 1897, which provides that water samples may be sent to the University of Michigan for analysis.

FISCAL IMPACT


This section of law has not had practical application for many years. Also, the constitutional autonomy bestowed on the State's public universities in the Constitution of 1963 renders this provision unenforceable. Due to these factors, there would be no fiscal impact on the State or local units of government, if this section were repealed.
