        A bill to designate an official bird of this state; and to

   repeal acts and parts of acts.

               THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

           Sec. 1.  The Kirtland's warbler (Dendroica kirtlandii) is

      designated as the official bird of this state.

           Enacting section 1.  1931 House Concurrent Resolution No. 30

      is repealed.
