CONTENT
The bill would the Land Division Act to make an exception within the definition of "tract". The term means two or more parcels that share a common property line and are under the same ownership. Under the bill, two or more parcels that met these criteria would not be a tract if the parcels were owned by an individual who acquired them before 1955 with his or her spouse.
