        A bill to amend 1931 PA 328, entitled

   "The Michigan penal code,"

   by amending section 145a (MCL 750.145a).

               THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

           Sec. 145a.   Accosting, enticing or soliciting child.  Any

 2
      A person who  shall accost, entice, or solicit  ACCOSTS, ENTICES,

 3
      OR SOLICITS a child  under the age of  LESS THAN 16 years OF AGE

 4
      with THE intent to induce or force  said  THAT child to commit an

 5
      immoral act,  or  to submit to an act of sexual intercourse  ,

 6
      or an act of gross indecency, or TO any other act of depravity or

 7
      delinquency, or  shall suggest to such  WHO ENCOURAGES A child

 8
      LESS THAN 16 YEARS OF AGE TO ENGAGE IN any of  the

 9
      aforementioned  THOSE acts  , shall on conviction thereof be

      deemed  IS guilty of a  misdemeanor,  FELONY punishable by

      imprisonment  in the county jail  for not more than  1 year

      4 YEARS OR A FINE OF NOT MORE THAN $2,000.00, OR BOTH.
