        A bill to amend 1996 PA 236, entitled

   "Regulated occupation support enforcement act,"

   by amending section 2 (MCL 338.3432).

               THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

             Sec. 2.  As used in this act:

 2
             (a) "License" means a certificate, registration, or license

 3
        issued by an occupational regulatory agency that allows an indi-

 4
        vidual to engage in a regulated occupation or that allows an

 5
        individual to use a specific title in the practice of an occupa-

 6
        tion, profession, or vocation.

 7
             (b) "Occupational regulatory agency" means a department,

 8
        bureau, or agency of this state that has regulatory authority

 9
        over a regulated occupation.

             (c)  "Office of the friend of the court"  "COURT FAMILY

        SERVICES OFFICE" means an agency created by section 3 of the

        No. 294 of the Public Acts of 1982, being section 552.503 of the

        Michigan Compiled Laws  1982 PA 294, MCL 552.503.

             (d) "Regulated occupation" means an occupation, profession,

 5
        or vocation that requires a license as a predicate for the prac-

 6
        tice of the occupation, profession, or vocation or that provides

 7
        for the use of a specific title in the practice of the occupa-

 8
        tion, profession, or vocation.

             Enacting section 1.  This amendatory act does not take

10
        effect unless Senate Bill No. ______ or House Bill No. 6011

        (request no. 04605'01 *) of the 91st Legislature is enacted into

        law.
