Raczkowski and referred to the Committee on Appropriations.


        A bill to make, supplement, and adjust appropriations for the

   department of consumer and industry services for the fiscal year ending

   September 30, 2003; to provide for the expenditure of the appropriations;

   and to prescribe certain conditions for the appropriations.

                   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

           3      Sec. 101.  There is appropriated for the department of consumer and

           4 industry services for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2003, from the

           5 following funds:

           7 GENERAL SECTIONS

           8      Sec. 201.  Pursuant to section 30 of article IX of the state consti-

           9 tution of 1963, total state spending under part 1 for fiscal year

          10 2002-2003 is $7,421,000.00.  State spending from state resources to be

          11 paid to local units of government for fiscal year 2002-2003 under this

          12 act is $7,421,000.00.

          13      Sec. 202.  The appropriations made and the expenditures authorized

          14 under this act and the departments, agencies, commissions, boards,

          15 offices, and programs for which an appropriation is made under this act

          16 are subject to the management and budget act, 1984 PA 431, MCL 18.1101 to

          17 18.1594.
