        A bill to amend 1996 PA 236, entitled

   "Regulated occupation support enforcement act,"

   by amending section 2 (MCL 338.3432).

               THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

             Sec. 2.  As used in this act:

 2
             (a) "License" means a certificate, registration, or license

 3
        issued by an occupational regulatory agency that allows an indi-

 4
        vidual to engage in a regulated occupation or that allows an

 5
        individual to use a specific title in the practice of an occupa-

 6
        tion, profession, or vocation.

 7
             (b) "Occupational regulatory agency" means a department,

 8
        bureau, or agency of this state that has regulatory authority

 9
        over a regulated occupation.

              (c) "Office of the friend of the court" means an agency

        created by section 3 of the friend of the court act, Act No. 294

        of the Public Acts of 1982, being section 552.503 of the Michigan

 2
        Compiled Laws.

             (C)  (d)  "Regulated occupation" means an occupation, pro-

 4
        fession, or vocation that requires a license as a predicate for

 5
        the practice of the occupation, profession, or vocation or that

 6
        provides for the use of a specific title in the practice of the

 7
        occupation, profession, or vocation.

             Enacting section 1.  This amendatory act does not take

 9
        effect unless Senate Bill No. ___ or House Bill No. 6317 (request

10
        no. 07684'02) of the 91st Legislature is enacted into law.
