A bill to amend 1931 PA 328, entitled "The Michigan penal code," (MCL 750.1 to 750.568) by adding section 136d. THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT: 1 SEC. 136D. (1) AN INDIVIDUAL 17 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER WHO 2 KNOWS THAT ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL IS ENGAGING IN OR HAS ENGAGED IN 3 CONDUCT PROHIBITED UNDER SECTION 520B, 520C, 520D, 520E, OR 520G 4 AGAINST AN INDIVIDUAL WHO IS LESS THAN 16 YEARS OF AGE SHALL 5 IMMEDIATELY REPORT THAT CONDUCT TO THE NEAREST POLICE AGENCY 6 HAVING JURISDICTION OVER THE VIOLATION. 7 (2) AN INDIVIDUAL WHO VIOLATES THIS SECTION IS GUILTY OF A 8 MISDEMEANOR PUNISHABLE BY IMPRISONMENT FOR NOT MORE THAN 93 DAYS 9 OR A FINE OF NOT MORE THAN $500.00, OR BOTH. 07640'02 TVD 2 1 (3) THIS SECTION DOES NOT APPLY IF THE INDIVIDUAL REASONABLY 2 BELIEVES A REPORT OF THE VIOLATION HAS ALREADY BEEN MADE AS 3 REQUIRED UNDER THIS SECTION. 07640'02 Final page.
