CONTENT


The bill would amend the State License Fee Act to increase application, license, and registration fees of various regulated occupations. See Table 1 for details on the affected professions.


The bill also would sunset on the fee increases on September 30, 2007. All fees would revert to current levels on that date.

FISCAL IMPACT


The bill would generate approximately $2.8 million in additional revenue, which would replace General Fund/General Purpose funding for the support of basic operations of the Department of Consumer and Industry Services as well as the Bureau of Workers’ and Unemployment Compensation.
