CONTENT
The bill would amend the State School Aid Act to require each intermediate school district (ISD) to report its website address to the Center for Educational Information and Performance. The ISD would have to report the address where the Department of Education could gain access to the report required under Section 620 of the Revised School Code (proposed by House Bill 5475). (Under Section 620, each ISD would have to post on its website a report containing information about travel expenses, contracts, top employee compensation, payments made for public relations, polling, lobbying, and legal services, and other matters.)
The bill is tie-barred to House Bill 5475, and would take effect on January 1, 2005.
