SUBSTITUTE FOR

HOUSE BILL NO. 5996

                                                                             A bill to amend 1954 PA 116, entitled                                             

"Michigan election law,"                                                    

by amending section 500f (MCL 168.500f), as amended by 2003 PA              

302.                                                                        

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

1       Sec. 500f.   The In the case of an election for village                    

2   officers only, the clerk of a township shall transmit to the                

3   village clerk of a village that lies partly or completely in the            

4   township and that holds its regular election in September under             

5   section 642(7) the information necessary to complete the village            

6   registration of a person registered under sections 500a to 500j.
