A bill to amend 1954 PA 116, entitled
"Michigan election law,"
by amending section 699 (MCL 168.699).
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
1 Sec. 699. At the general November election, the names of
2 the several nonpartisan offices to be voted for shall be placed
3 on a separate judicial
portion of the ballot containing no
4 party designation in the following order: justices of the
5 supreme court, judges of the court of appeals, judges of the
6 circuit court, judges of
the probate court, and circuit court
7 commissioners in the years in which they are elected, the
8 following village officers in substantially the following order
9 in the year in which elections for the offices are held:
10 president, clerk, treasurer, and trustees, and in a year in which
11 an election for the office is held, school board member.
