A bill to amend 1939 PA 280, entitled
"The social welfare act,"
(MCL 400.1 to 400.119b) by adding section 109h.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
1 Sec. 109h. Effective October 1, 2003, a community mental
2 health services program established by a single county must be
3 established as a community mental health authority as defined in
4 section 100a of the mental health code, 1974 PA 258, MCL
5 330.1100a, prior to contracting with the department of community
6 health as a specialty prepaid health plan to provide specialty
7 services and supports.
