House Bill 4566 (Substitute H-1)
Sponsor: Rep. David Farhat
Committee: Regulatory Reform
Complete to 2-22-06
A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 4566 AS REPORTED FROM COMMITTEE
The bill would amend the Occupational Code to allow Department of Labor and Economic Growth (DLEG) 15 business days (rather than 15 calendar days, as now) after receiving an application for a real estate broker's or associate broker's license to notify the applicant that an application is incomplete.
The bill would also allow the department to notify real estate and associate brokers of an incomplete application by telephone, e-mail or Internet posting. Currently, notification must be sent in writing "or made electronically available."
