Summary The Information Technology Center Renovation capital outlay project forSouthwesternMichiganCollege was authorized under PA 297 of 2005. The total authorized cost was established at $4,500,000 to be financed equally between State Building Authority bonds andSouthwesternMichiganCollege funds. This multi-component project was to entail the renovations of its M-TECH Facility and theInformationTechnologyCenter. Due to unanticipated inflationary increases, the college requests a project cost increase of $547,700 and, also to reduce the scope of the project to eliminate the M-TECH renovations. The college will finance the entire cost increase. The Joint Capital Outlay Subcommittee (JCOS) approved this resolution, with recommendation.
