HEALTH CARE OCCUPATIONS H.B. 6086: FLOOR ANALYSIS

CONTENT
The bill would amend the Public Health Code to include the title "sanitarian" (in addition to "registered sanitarian" and "R.S.") among the titles that a person may not use unless he or she is registered under the Code.


The bill is tie-barred to House Bill 6147, which would repeal Sections 16131 and 16263 of the Code, which prescribe the length and expiration date of terms of members serving on boards regulating various health occupations, and restrict the use of certain words, titles, and letters to individuals authorized to use them under the Code, respectively.
