A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled
"Public health code,"
(MCL 333.1101 to 333.25211) by adding section 5480.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 5480. (1) A person shall not sell or offer for sale in
this state or for use in this state a lunch box that contains lead.
(2) As used in this section, "lunch box" means a fabricated
container intended to be used to carry packaged or unpackaged food
or drink for human consumption.
