A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled
"Public health code,"
by amending section 18705 (MCL 333.18705), as added by 2004 PA 3.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 18705. (1) The Michigan board of respiratory care is
created in the department and consists of the following 7 members
who meet the requirements of part 161:
(a) Four individuals who meet the requirements of section
16135(2).
(b) One medical director.
(c) Two public members.
(2) The terms of office of individual members of the board
created under this section, except those appointed to fill
vacancies, expire 4 years after appointment on December 31 of the
year in which the term expires.
Enacting section 1. This amendatory act does not take effect
unless Senate Bill No.____ or House Bill No.____ (request no.
05150'05) of the 93rd Legislature is enacted into law.
