A bill to amend 1965 PA 380, entitled
"Executive organization act of 1965,"
(MCL 16.101 to 16.608) by adding section 359; and to repeal acts
and parts of acts.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 359. The Mackinac bridge authority created under 1950 (Ex
Sess) PA 21, MCL 254.301 to 254.304, with all its statutory
authority, powers, duties, functions, records, personnel, property,
unexpended balances of appropriations, allocations, or other funds,
including the functions of budgeting and procurement and management
related functions, are transferred to and shall be an autonomous
entity in the department of transportation.
Enacting section 1. Section 357 of the executive organization
act of 1965, 1965 PA 380, MCL 16.457, is repealed.
