A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 5257 AS INTRODUCEDSeptember 20, 20079-20-07

This bill eliminates the sunset provision which would have caused the non-profit corporation filing fees to cease on October 1, 2007.  The bill also would allow the Department of Labor and Economic Growth to revise the fees using the administrative rules process.  The bill would amend the Nonprofit Corporation Act (MCL 450.3060).

FISCAL IMPACT:
