CONTENT
The bill would amend the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act to require the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), beginning January 1, 2008, to post and maintain on its website a booklet identifying environmental laws and rules of particular significance for farms and farm operations.
The DEQ and the Department of Agriculture would have to work cooperatively to develop reasonable approaches to meeting the requirements of the laws identified under the bill.

FISCAL IMPACT
The bill would cost the State a small and indeterminate amount in staff time and resources to create the booklet.
