A bill to amend 1966 PA 346, entitled
"State housing development authority act of 1966,"
(MCL 125.1401 to 125.1499c) by adding section 58e.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 58e. If a county establishes a trust fund to provide
housing for the homeless who are located in the county, the county
shall annually report to the authority on the distribution of the
fund. As used in this section, "homeless" means any person who does
not have access to decent, affordable housing that the person
controls through a rental or purchase arrangement.
