Rep. Meadows offered the following resolution:

            House Resolution No. 301.

            A resolution honoring the East Lansing Boys Tennis Team for winning the MHSAA state championship.

            Whereas, The East Lansing Boys Tennis Team, consisting of Thomas Cawood, Steve Wolff, Stephen Biddle, Christopher Crawford, Thomas Shin, Christopher Bracken, Robert Cawood, Blake Brogan, Adam Jadun, Robert Olds, Harris Jadun, Rollin Baker, and Trevor Brogan, won the MHSAA state championship in the fall of 2007. This was the first win by East Lansing since 1951; and

            Whereas, The East Lansing Boys Tennis Team, whose members are also on the CAAC all-academic team, finished the dual match season undefeated at 16-0; and

            Whereas, The East Lansing Boys Tennis Team finished in first place at the Grand Blanc Invitational tournament, first place at the Midland Dow Quad Invitational tournament, and second at the Ann Arbor Pioneer Quad Invitational tournament; and

            Whereas, The East Lansing Boys Tennis Team had first place finishes in their league, the Capitol Area Athletic Conference tournament, the regional tournament, and the state tournament; and

            Whereas, The East Lansing Boys Tennis Team doubles team of Steve Wolff and Adam Jadun finished first in the state tournament; and

            Whereas, The East Lansing Boys Tennis Team doubles team of Blake Brogan and T.J. Brogan finished as runners up at the state tournament; and

            Whereas, The East Lansing Boys Tennis Team singles of Tommy Cawood, Bobby Cawood and Harry Jadun finished as semi-finalists in the state tournament; now therefore be it

            Resolved by the House of Representatives, That the members of this legislative body honor all the members and coaching staff of the East Lansing Boys Tennis Team upon winning the state championship.
