The roll was called by the Clerk of the House of Representatives, who announced that a quorum was not present.

Rep. Fred Durhal, Jr., from the 6th District, offered the following invocation:

“Gracious Lord, thank You for giving us the opportunity to be here to serve You and to serve the people of the state of Michigan. Thank You, Lord, for giving us the wisdom, the strength, and the judgment to make the right kinds of decisions. Bless us today as we deliberate. Bless us as we try to determine the best course of action for Michigan. Be with us always, keep us from all hurt, harm and danger. We ask this is Jesus’ holy name. Amen.”

The Senate has adopted the concurrent resolution and named Senators Birkholz, Brater, Cherry, Clark-Coleman, Clarke, Gleason, Jansen, Olshove, Pappageorge, Prusi, Scott and Switalski as co‑sponsors.
