CONTENT
The bill would amend the handgun licensure Act to provide that a license to carry a concealed pistol issued or renewed on or after July 1, 2006, would be valid until the applicant's date of birth falling in the fifth year after the license was issued or renewed, instead of on the applicant's date of birth that falls not less than four year or more than five years after the license is issued or renewed.


The bill would retain a provision that a license issued on or after July 1, 2003, but before July 1, 2006, is valid for five years.
