SUBSTITUTE FOR

SENATE BILL NO. 393

     A bill to amend 2006 PA 88, entitled

"Inmate reimbursement to municipalities act,"

by amending section 2 (MCL 801.312).

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

     Sec. 2. As used in this act:

     (a) "Municipal jail" means a jail or lockup operated by a

city, village, or township.

     (b) "Municipality" means a any city, village, or township.

located within a county that has a population of 500,000 or more.
