SENATE BILL No. 762

 

 

February 9, 2016, Introduced by Senators MACGREGOR, KNOLLENBERG, PROOS, PAVLOV, HILDENBRAND and MARLEAU and referred to the Committee on Education.

 

 

 

     A bill to repeal 1964 PA 238, entitled

 

"An act to authorize the state of Michigan, boards of supervisors,

local governing boards and school districts to appropriate moneys

to foster and maintain demonstration educational and work

experience programs through a special job upgrading program for

unemployed, out of work, school dropouts; define the powers and

duties of the superintendent of public instruction; and to provide

for appropriations,"

 

(MCL 395.171 to 395.175).

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Enacting section 1. 1964 PA 238, MCL 395.171 to 395.175, is

 

repealed.

 

     Enacting section 2. This act takes effect 90 days after the

 

date it is enacted into law.
