SUBSTITUTE FOR

HOUSE BILL NO. 4525

     A bill to amend 1949 PA 300, entitled

"Michigan vehicle code,"

by amending section 25a (MCL 257.25a), as amended by 2017 PA 94.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

     Sec. 25a. "Autocycle" means a motorcycle that is equipped with

safety belts, rollbar or roll hoops, handlebars or a steering

wheel, and equipment otherwise required on a motorcycle, has not

more than 3 wheels in contact with the roadway at any 1 time, and

is not equipped with a straddle seat.

     Enacting section 1. This amendatory act takes effect 90 days

after the date it is enacted into law.
