SUBSTITUTE FOR

SENATE BILL NO. 998

     A bill to repeal 1969 PA 57, entitled

"Uniform recognition of acknowledgments act,"

(MCL 565.261 to 565.270).

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

     Enacting section 1. The uniform recognition of acknowledgments

act, 1969 PA 57, MCL 565.261 to 565.270, is repealed.

     Enacting section 2. This amendatory act takes effect 90 days

after the date it is enacted into law.

     Enacting section 3. This act does not take effect unless all

of the following bills of the 99th Legislature are enacted into

law:

     (a) Senate Bill No. 664.

     (b) Senate Bill No. 996.

     (c) Senate Bill No. 997.
