A bill to amend 1939 PA 280, entitled
"The social welfare act,"
(MCL 400.1 to 400.119b) by adding section 14m.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 14m. (1) The department shall implement a lottery system
to distribute coupons for participation in the senior farmers'
market nutrition program described under 7 CFR 249.6.
(2) The department shall update the state plan on
implementation of the senior farmers' market nutrition program to
include the lottery distribution system required under subsection
(1).
Enacting section 1. This amendatory act takes effect 90 days
after the date it is enacted into law.
