     A bill to amend 1980 PA 299, entitled

 

"Occupational code,"

 

by amending section 2627 (MCL 339.2627), as amended by 2006 PA 414.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Sec. 2627. (1) As Except as provided in subsection (2), as a

 

condition for the renewal of licensure as a limited real estate

 

appraiser, a certified general real estate appraiser, a certified

 

residential real estate appraiser, or a state licensed real estate

 

appraiser, a licensee shall must complete the minimum continuing

 

education requirements described in the AQB criteria.

 

     (2) Notwithstanding any provision of this act or a rule to the

 

contrary, an applicant for renewal of a license issued under this

 

article is only required to successfully complete 2 hours of


instruction every 4 years concerning the statutes and

 

administrative rules of this state applicable to appraisers who are

 

licensed under this article.

 

     Enacting section 1. This amendatory act takes effect 90 days

 

after the date it is enacted into law.
