CONTENT

 

The bill would amend the Penal Code to allow a licensed veterinarian who had reasonable cause to suspect the abuse or neglect of a companion animal to report the suspected abuse or neglect to an animal control shelter in or a law enforcement agency having jurisdiction over the geographic location where the abuse or neglect allegedly occurred.
