A bill to amend 1969 PA 317, entitled

"Worker's disability compensation act of 1969,"

(MCL 418.101 to 418.941) by adding section 303.

the people of the state of michigan enact:

Sec. 303. If an employee receives a personal injury while he or she is participating in a lawful demonstration related to his or her right to strike under 1939 PA 176, MCL 423.1 to 423.30, or the national labor relations act, 29 USC 151 to 169, and if the personal injury is connected to or related to the actions of a security company acting on behalf of the employee's employer, the personal injury is presumed to arise out of and in the course of employment.
