A bill to amend 2018 PA 435, entitled

"An act to create the office of school safety and prescribe its powers and duties; and to provide for the powers and duties of certain state entities,"

(MCL 28.681 to 28.683) by adding section 2.

the people of the state of michigan enact:

Sec. 2. Beginning on the effective date of the amendatory act that added this section, the office of school safety, in conjunction with the department, shall, as soon as possible or within 24 hours of receiving a tip related to a school district, notify the emergency and safety manager of that intermediate school district in which the school district is located and the county sheriff or local law enforcement agency within which the school district is located.

Enacting section 1. This amendatory act does not take effect unless all of the following bills of the 101st Legislature are enacted into law:

(a) Senate Bill No.____ or House Bill No. 6323 (request no. 05602'22).

(c) Senate Bill No.____ or House Bill No. 6328 (request no. 06542'22).
