“Father, in Jesus name, I come before You today asking for Your blessing over the Michigan House of Representatives. Gracious God, You said in Your word that the government is on Your shoulders. God, cover and protect our elected leaders.

Give us the spirit wisdom, knowledge and understanding that we may make wise decisions for the people of this great State. Father God, bless and keep our military, law enforcement personnel, healthcare professionals and all of our front line workers who risk their lives to keep us safe. Strengthen and comfort the families who have lost loved ones from Covid-19. Provide our constituents the peace they need to make it during these challenging times.

Heavenly Father, I ask that the blessing of health, love and compassion flow in this chamber. God, bind us together in the spirit of Love and Unity. These things I pray in Christ’s name, Amen.”
