A bill to require a municipal housing ordinance to use certain factors in designating the area median income for making determinations regarding affordable housing; and to provide for the powers and duties of certain local governmental officers and entities.

A bill to authorize local units of government to limit rent for individuals with a disability and individuals over a certain age; to exempt certain rental property from ad valorem property taxes, and to impose a specific tax on that property; and to provide for the powers and duties of certain local governmental officers and entities.

A bill to amend 1999 PA 244, entitled “An act to require tobacco product manufacturers to place funds in escrow for medical expenses incurred by the state due to tobacco related illnesses; to establish a formula for determining the amount of the escrow; to establish the conditions for release of funds from escrow; to prescribe powers and duties of the attorney general; and to provide for civil penalties for violation of this act,” by amending sections 1 and 2 (MCL 445.2051 and 445.2052), as amended by 2016 PA 42.
