Senate Joint Resolution D, entitled
A joint resolution proposing an amendment to the state constitution of 1963, by amending sections 5 and 6 of article VIII and adding section 10 to article VIII, to prohibit state universities from establishing or applying student admissions preferences based on certain familial relationships.
The
joint resolution was read a first and second time by title and referred to the
Committee on
Government Operations.
Senator Bayer introduced
A bill to amend 2011 PA 152, entitled “Publicly funded health insurance contribution act,” by amending section 2 (MCL 15.562), as amended by 2013 PA 269.
The bill was read a first and second time by title and referred to the Committee on Finance, Insurance, and Consumer Protection.
Senator Camilleri introduced
A bill to amend 1976 PA 451, entitled “The revised school code,” (MCL 380.1 to 380.1852) by adding section 1278e.

Senator McMorrow introduced
A bill to amend 1949 PA 300, entitled “Michigan vehicle code,” by amending section 803r (MCL 257.803r), as amended by 2019 PA 88, and by adding section 803s.
