A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled

"Public health code,"

by amending section 12413 (MCL 333.12413).

Sec. 12413. (1) The department shall issue a license for the operation of the an agricultural labor camp , if, after investigation and inspection, it the department finds that the agricultural labor camp and its the agriculture labor camp's proposed operation conforms or will conform to the minimum standards of construction, health, sanitation, sewage, water supply, plumbing, garbage and rubbish disposal, and operation set forth in the rules promulgated under section 12421. The license shall be is valid only for the balance of the calendar year during which it is issued.occupancy period stated on the face of the license, as determined by the department.

(2) The license shall must recite on its face that both of the following:

(a) That the camp operator shall comply with this part and the rules promulgated under this part.

(b) The occupancy period described in subsection (1).

(3) The license is not transferable or assignable, except with the express written consent of the department.
