Senate Bill No. 480, entitled

A bill to amend 1973 PA 116, entitled “An act to provide for the protection of children through the licensing and regulation of child care organizations; to provide for the establishment of standards of care for child care organizations; to prescribe powers and duties of certain departments of this state and adoption facilitators; to provide penalties; and to repeal acts and parts of acts,” by amending section 1 (MCL 722.111), as amended by 2024 PA 50.

The bill was read a first and second time by title and referred to the Committee on Housing and Human Services.

Senate Bill No. 481, entitled

A bill to amend 2016 PA 62, entitled “Human trafficking notification act,” by amending sections 2 and 3 (MCL 752.1032 and 752.1033).

The bill was read a first and second time by title and referred to the Committee on Housing and Human Services.

 

 

Senators Johnson and Runestad introduced

Senate Bill No. 482, entitled

A bill to authorize the making of medical treatment decisions for another individual under certain circumstances; to prohibit the authorization of certain types of medical treatment; and to provide for certain liability.

The bill was read a first and second time by title and referred to the Committee on Health Policy.

A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled “Public health code,” (MCL 333.1101 to 333.25211) by adding section 2220.

The bill was read a first and second time by title and referred to the Committee on Health Policy.

Senate Bill No. 484, entitled

A bill to amend 1893 PA 206, entitled “The general property tax act,” by amending section 7gg (MCL 211.7gg), as amended by 2023 PA 91.

The bill was read a first and second time by title and referred to the Committee on Housing and Human Services.

 

 

Senator Anthony introduced

Senate Bill No. 485, entitled

A bill to amend 2003 PA 260, entitled “Tax reverted clean title act,” by amending sections 4 and 5 (MCL 211.1024 and 211.1025), section 5 as amended by 2016 PA 151.

The bill was read a first and second time by title and referred to the Committee on Housing and Human Services.

 

 

House Bill No. 4369, entitled

A bill to amend 2000 PA 92, entitled “Food law,” (MCL 289.1101 to 289.8111) by adding section 7134.

The House of Representatives has passed the bill and ordered that it be given immediate effect.

The bill was read a first and second time by title and referred to the Committee on Education.

 

 

House Bill No. 4390, entitled

A bill to amend 1949 PA 300, entitled “Michigan vehicle code,” by amending sections 43b and 319b (MCL 257.43b and 257.319b), section 43b as added by 2016 PA 243 and section 319b as amended by 2023 PA 39, and by adding section 36d.

The House of Representatives has passed the bill and ordered that it be given immediate effect.

The bill was read a first and second time by title and referred to the Committee on Civil Rights, Judiciary, and Public Safety.

 

 

House Bill No. 4391, entitled

A bill to amend 1949 PA 300, entitled “Michigan vehicle code,” by amending sections 625a, 625c, and 625g (MCL 257.625a, 257.625c, and 257.625g), sections 625a and 625g as amended by 2021 PA 85 and section 625c as amended by 2014 PA 315.

The House of Representatives has passed the bill and ordered that it be given immediate effect.

The bill was read a first and second time by title and referred to the Committee on Civil Rights, Judiciary, and Public Safety.
